Woods Native Kristin Bell To Host Screen Actors Guild Awards
Actor, star of Veronica Mars, The Good Place and House of Lies to host Screen Actors Guild Awards January 21.
The Screen Actors Guild has tapped Huntington Woods negative Kristin Bell to host the 2017 Sag Awards. Bell, whose most famous credits include Veronica Mars and House of Lies currently stars in The Good Place on NBC.
As part of the announcement of her selection as host for the 24th annual awards show, Bell tweeted a video full of jokes.
"I've been asked to host the SAG Awards this year, which means, to all my friends who've been nominated, I get to choose who wins." she told viewers of the video which she shared via Twitter. "That's not how it works?,” she adds, asking “Then what am I doing? Like, Anne Hathaway and James Franco did? I'm doing that? Why, did I lose a bet?"

SAG will announce the 2017 nominees tomorrow, Dec 13. Bell will host live on Sunday, Jan 21, 2018. The show broadcasts on TNT tan TBS at 8pm.
