20 Year Old Michigan Musician May Conduct the Boston Pops
2015 Birmingham Groves Graduate is Finalist in Boston Pops Conducting Competition
Young Michigan Maestro, Jherrard Marseille Hardeman (20 years old), is 1 of 4 finalists competing to conduct the Boston Pops on June 7, 2018. Jherrard is a Presidential Scholar studying Music Composition at Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, MA.
Jherrard is a 2015 graduate of Birmingham Groves High School, whose passion for music lead him to co-found and serve as the Music Director of the Detroit Chamber Orchestra (www.detroitchamberorchestra.org). We wish him well as he goes off to Boston to hopefully win the chance to conduct the Boston Pops.
