3 Birmingham City Commission Seats Up For Grabs On Election Day
Find out where to vote and when polls open in Birmingham.

BIRMINGHAM, MI — While there’s no drama as to who Birmingham’s city commission members will be after Election Day on Nov. 7, it doesn’t mean there won’t be changes. Incumbents Rackeline Hoff, Mark Nickita and Stuart Lee Sherman will return to the commission.
But Birmingham city rules only allow the mayor and mayor pro-tem to serve one-year terms. So, a successor to Nickita as mayor and Andrew Harris as mayor pro-tem will be elected by commissioners at their first meeting following the general election.
