Birmingham Cars Egged Over School Rivalry; Fight at the Corner Bar
The Birmingham Police Department provided the following information. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.

The Birmingham Police Department is trying to identify a man who punched two men while they danced at the Corner Bar last week, reports said.Â
Officers responded to calls about a fight at the bar at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday and were told the man who started the altercation already left.
The victims, a 21-year-old Grand Rapids man and a 21-year-old male from Southfield, said they  were dancing with two females when they were suddenly struck in the face by the unknown suspect. Both sustained injuries to their faces and were taken to Beaumont Hospital by the Birmingham Fire Department.Â
Witnesses described the suspect as white, about 30 years old and 5'10". He was bald, heavy set, and wore khakis and a white button up polo shirt.Â
Egging Action
Officers responded to reports of a group of teenagers egging vehicles in the Poppleton and Rivenoak area at about midnight on June 1, police reports said. The teens were gone when officers arrived, but police found two vehicles that had been egged. Reports said the officers believed one vehicle was targeted due to High School rivalry since the car had an "R" magnet on the back trunk, which is a symbol for Brother Rice High School. No suspect information was available, but the investigation is ongoing.ÂGet more local news delivered straight to your inbox.
