Birmingham Groves Holds 'Meet the Candidate' Forums Wednesday

Two "Meet the Candidate" forums will be held starting at 6:30 p.m. at the school.

BIRMINGHAM, MI — Birmingham residents will get a chance Wednesday to meet a pair of finalists for the principal’s job at Groves High School. Two “Meet the Candidate” forums will be held starting at 6:30 p.m. at the school, which is located at 20500 W. Thirteen Mile Road in Beverly Hills.

The two finalists are Othamian Peterson and John Tafelski. There will be two parts of the forum for each candidate – one to meet with members of the Groves community, including parents and students, and the other to meet with Groves faculty and staff.

At each forum, candidates will have time to meet with attendees and then be asked to respond to questions through a moderated interview. The Groves Community Forum will host Peterson at 6:30 p.m. and Tafelski at 7:15 p.m. Teachers and staff will meet with Tafelski at 6:30 p.m. and Peterson at 7:15 p.m.
