Birmingham Holiday Lights

Especially this year, tidings of comfort and joy.

Dear Neighbors,

The holidays feel different this year.

People's decorations look heroic somehow.

Standing up to the darkness that is 2020.

Spreading encouragement.

Sharing hope.

I took my camera for a walk last night.

I saw light and color everywhere.

And I knew in my heart, no matter what happens...

We will survive.

We will find our way home.

Joy to the world!
