Birmingham Offers Shopping Incentives on Small Business Saturday
Shopper will receive free parking and valet, breakfast treats, carriage rides and more on Saturday, November 26.

Everyone is invited to support their local economy by shopping small on Small Business Saturday. Those who shop small on Saturday, November 26 will enjoy special incentives from the Birmingham Shopping District. Small Business Saturday is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and is dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country.
On Saturday, November 26, Birmingham’s downtown shoppers will enjoy the following:

* FUEL UP BEFORE YOU SHOP SMALL® Tent located on corner of Maple/Henrietta (10:00 am to 11:30 am or while supplies last)
- KIND Snack Bars

- Hot Cocoa and Coffee
- Small Business Saturday Giveaways
- Drawing for 4 tickets to Disney The Lion King at the Detroit Opera House
* Free Parking at meters and parking structures in downtown Birmingham.
* Free Valet Parking at two locations: Old Woodward north of Maple, and Henrietta at Maple (near Roots)
* Complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
* Santa House - Children are invited to bring Santa their list and have their picture taken with him in his quaint home from 12 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
* Santa Warming Tent with complimentary treats and hot chocolate near the Santa House in Shain Park, sponsored by Lincoln of Troy
* Strolling Entertainment from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm includes:
- Bill the Magician
- Rudolph
- Velvet (caroling trio)
- Elementary school choirs
* WOMC 104.3 will be on site during the event.
