Birmingham Tree Lighting 2016
The evening will include caroling, horse-drawn carriages and a visit from Santa.
BIRMINGHAM, MI — The holidays are coming to Birmingham! The Birmingham Tree Lighting event is Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. in Shain Park. Join the Mayor, Santa and carolers to watch a 35-foot blue spruce decked out with more than 40,000 LED lights light up the Birmingham night.
After the big lighting moment, Santa’s home away from the North Pole will be open in Shain Park. The Birmingham Lions Club will snap photos of you and Mr. Claus for $5, and donations will support Leader Dogs for the Blind.
Last surprise to be revealed: There'll be free horse-drawn carriage rides. Giddy up, holidays!
