Birmingham Woman Attacked, Robbed Behind Bella Piatti

A Birmingham woman told police two men knocked her down and stole her jewelry in the alley behind Bella Piatti Saturday night, reports said. 

The 44-year-old woman said she was attacked at about 11 p.m. by two men she could only describe as tall and strong, reports said. They took her white gold tennis bracelet and amethyst ring before running off. The woman suffered a scraped knee, a swollen and bloody eye from the fall.

There are no witnesses, and no suspect information was available. Anyone with information is asked to call the department at 248-530-1870.
