“He is easy to warm up to,” says his worker. “He establishes connections well.”
“When I visit him, I always laugh,” his worker says. “And, Nikkoley is kind and thoughtful. He will go out of his way to do things for others.”
She adds, “On my last visit, he wanted to go to the store to purchase a birthday gift for one of his friends.”
Loves to play tennis
Eighth-grader Nikkoley does well in school, especially through receiving the services he needs to thrive and the structure he requires.
“He needs a family that would advocate for him,” says his adoption worker, “with two parents (or a single mom with a strong support group). He’d fit in well with older or younger siblings. He’d do best with an active family that enjoys doing things together.”
And Nikkoley likes to do lots of things.
“I love playing tennis,” Nikkoley says. He participates both in school and on his own.
He also enjoys riding bikes, reading, watching T.V. and dreaming about future trips to the Bahamas and Paris.
“I’ve heard the Bahamas are very nice,” he says. “And, someday, I’d love to visit Paris to see the Eiffel Tower and to taste the breads and pastries.”
Future teacher, singer
Nikkoley wants people to know that he his caring, loving and kind. He has hopes of becoming a teacher or a singer.
But his greatest hope is finding a “forever family.”
“We could spend our time together. We could cook, and play tennis and football and kickball and so much more,” Nikkoley says.
“But, mostly, with a ‘forever family,’ I could be the best kid I can be. And somebody would be there for me.”
