Feature Photo: Eton Students Win First Place at Yearbook Competition

Eton's 2011-12 yearbook won awards for cover design and total yearbook design in a contest sponsored by Entourage Yearbooks.

Several students from Birmingham's Eton Academy took home first place in a nationwide yearbook contest sponsored by the publisher, Entourage Yearbooks.

The Eton yearbook for 2011-12 won first place for cover design and earned an honorable mention for yearbook design in the contest. The competition included yearbooks from hundreds from schools from all 50 states.

“I am thrilled that our students’ hard work and creativity is being recognized,” said Eton Visual Arts Teacher and Yearbook Advisor, Linus Parr.

“This is the second consecutive year Eton Academy students have earned top awards from Entourage and our entire school is really excited," Parr added. "These awards continue to inspire and motivate our students to work hard on our current yearbook.”
