Fire Department Plans Open House
The Birmingham Fire Department will host an open house at the Adams Fire Station located at 572 South Adams.

BIRMINGHAM, MI — Learn about fire safety and meet your firefighters at Birmingham's annual Open House event on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Adams Fire Station located at 572 South Adams. Visitors will be treated to a variety of fire rescue demonstrations including EMS and vehicle extrication displays, along with HAZMAT apparatus and equipment.
Attendees will have the opportunity to operate a fire hose and view portable fire extinguisher demonstrations. Little ones can climb on and explore inflatable obstacle courses.
“We hope attendees have a great time while learning life-saving fire safety information,” said Birmingham Fire Chief John Connaughton. “We look forward to seeing the community and enjoying a fun afternoon together.”

Those in attendance will enjoy fire house chili while talking with firefighters. All attendees are encouraged to enter a raffle and enjoy refreshments at this family-friendly event.
