Gun, Bicycles Reported Stolen in Birmingham

Birmingham police investigated three separate larceny reports last week.

Officers with the Birmingham Police Department investigated multiple larceny reports over the past week. Here are some highlights. 

  • A contractor reported a Ruger .380 handgun was taken from the center console of his vehicle while it was parked outside a home in the area of Lincoln and Pleasant streets. The theft occurred sometime between 6:30 a.m.  on Sept. 25 and 6 p.m.  Sept. 27. The weapon was in a black neoprene holster, reports said. No suspect information was available.
  • Investigators questioned a cleaning crew that works at SKBK Realty after an employee at the realty office reported his Tudor Underwater Submariner watch was stolen from his work desk. There were no witnesses and the investigation is ongoing, reports said. The theft occurred betwee 3:30 p.m. Sept. 25 and  11 p.m. Sept. 26, reports said. in te 415 S. Old Woodward Ave.  
  • A resident in the 900 block of Davis Street reported two bikes were stolen from an unlocked garage on Sept. 28. One bike is described as a blue, boy's Tony Hawk BMX with silver pegs. The other is a 19" white/orange boy's Jeep bicycle, reports said. The theft reportedly occurred sometime between 8 p.m. on Sept. 25 and 1 p.m. Sept. 28. There were no witnesses and no suspect information is availalble.
