If You Know This Man, Call Birmingham Police Right Now

Surveillance video from 220 Restaurant caught the suspect in the act, the police department said.

BIRMINGHAM, MI – Police in Birmingham are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of stealing a wallet from a customer at 220 Restaurant.

A woman dining at the restaurant reported her wallet was stolen from the pocket of her jacket, which she left on a bar stool while she went to use the restroom, Birmingham police said in a news release.

When she returned, she  noticed her wallet was missing. Another customer thought a man sitting next to the woman looked suspicious and took a photo of him, according to police.

Video surveillance showed the man taking the woman’s wallet, police said.
