Input Needed To Help Birmingham Celebrate Bicentennial

Birmingham turns 200 in December and community leaders are looking for feedback in how to celebrate.

BIRMINGHAM, MI — In December, Birmingham will celebrate its 200th birthday and community leaders are looking for a little help to make that celebration happen. Specifically, the Birmingham Museum Board is looking for residents’ input on how best to plan for the event.

A special committee of the museum has been exploring various ways the community can celebrate Birmingham’s history together, including sponsoring a publication to coincide with the bicentennial. There are many options that could be of interest, so the committee is seeking community feedback to help guide its recommendations.

A short survey has been compiled by museum committee to help get that important feedback, and it takes only about five minutes to complete. It’s available in both paper/pencil form and online.
