2nd Annual Junior League of Birmingham Touch-A-Truck
A Community Event of Exploration and Fun

The Junior League of Birmingham, MI Inc. (JLB). announces its 2nd Annual Touch-a-Truck® event on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Royal Oak Meijer Parking Lot, 5150 Coolidge Highway. This year will feature a Quiet Hour from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. where no horns or lights will be utilized.
Touch-A-Truck® is sponsored by Meijer and the Birmingham, Royal Oak Medical gGroup. This year we are expecting over 1,000 attendees for a fun -filled, interactive day for kids of all ages! “Touch-a-Truck ® is not only one of our most popular events but also a fundraising tool” explains President Noelle Schiffer. “Proceeds will directly support the mission of the JLB as well as programs bringing awareness to our community focus: Women in Crisis.”

- Over 20 trucks and vehicles of all shapes and sizes to climb, touch, and explore including Meijer’s antique delivery truck, 2 firetrucks and 2 ambulances which are a crowd favorite.
- Play 1st Mobile Gaming is once again returning with Michigan’s original mobile video game truck.
- Expanded entertainment options including story time, games, yoga and a visit from the Tooth Fairy from Preservation Dental and Rapunzel courtesy of Pixie Dust Entertainment.
- Control Point Corporation in Troy will be making a splash with their Dune Buggy Prototype
- Photo booth sponsored by BCP Detroit to commemorate the day
- Buffy Mexi-Casian, Grillwich Tot Shop, and Cool Jacks Ice Cream will have their amazing food trucks on site ready with amazing goodies for purchase.
Tickets are $5 per group of 4 or $2 per individual and available for purchase on our website at http://www.jlbham.org/estore/. Children under 1 are FREE. Scholarship tickets are also available for purchase and will be distributed to JLB community partners, including Lighthouse of Oakland County and CARE House of Oakland County.
