Narcan Revives Pontiac Man Found Unconscious In A Bathtub: Police

Deputies report that upon regaining consciousness, the 42-year-old man reportedly did not want to speak about the incident.

PONTIAC, MI — Narcan helped revive an unconscious Oakland County man, according to a police report.

Oakland County Sheriff's Office Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of S. Marshall St. on the report of a possible overdose victim found in a bathtub on Jan. 28 at 9:47 p.m.

Arriving Deputies found the victim - a 42-year-old Pontiac man - unconscious in a bathtub, according to the police report. Deputies say that the victim's brother-in-law, who first alerted authorities by calling 9-1-1, reportedly revealed the victim was a known heroin user.

Deputies administered a dose of Narcan to the man, and paramedics from Star EMS reportedly continued providing medical treatment to the man until he regained consciousness. Paramedics transported the victim to McLaren Hospital - Oakland, where he is currently listed in stable condition, according to Deputies.

Deputies report that after regaining consciousness, the man refused to cooperate or speak with them about the incident. The police report reveals no narcotics or drug paraphernalia were found at the scene.
