Parking Gate Arms Don't Open, Driver Leaves Anyway: Police
Police were called to the Pierce Street Parking Structure twice in as many days last week.

BIRMINGHAM, MI – A frustrated motorist deliberately rammed his vehicle through the parking gate arms at the Pierce Street Parking Structure last week after an electronic parking pass was rejected, police said.
The incident occurred on Friday, May 13, a day after police had been called to the same parking garage to investigate a minor traffic accident involving a 67-year-old Gaylord man, who Birmingham police arrested on drunken driving charges, The Birmingham Eccentric reports.
