Gathering at the Birmingham Farmers Market on 9/17.

Come one, come all, to celebrate fall!

Enjoy an annual tradition that is tasty, healthy, and fun for the whole family -- The Harvest Festival at the Birmingham Farmers Market. It takes place on Sunday, September 17th, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This event features barn animals from Bowers School Farm, antique corn shelling machines, food trucks, kids' craft by Bright Loritos, music and a live broadcast by WOMC. Kids can participate in the POP Club to earn a free $5 voucher for fresh foods from participating vendors. POP stands for "Power of Produce" and is sponsored by Children's Hospital of Michigan.

The Birmingham Farmers Market is located in Municipal Parking Lot 6. That's on Woodward Avenue, a few blocks north of Maple Road, on the east side of the street. If you're using a GPS to find it, the address is 666 North Old Woodward Avenue, Birmingham, MI 48009. It will continue in operation every Sunday through October 29th.
