Photos of Quiet Birmingham

Dear Neighbors,

I took my camera for a walk in downtown Birmingham, Michigan.

It was Saturday afternoon - March 28, 2020.

Just about everything was closed.

It felt strange.

The park was empty.

There were hardly any cars.

The news was all about the virus.

This family practically had the whole city to themselves.

So I took some pictures, just to remember what it looked like.

Was it a dream?

Usually busy, Woodward Avenue had very little traffic.

I saw signs posted everywhere.

There were plenty of spaces.

One truck.

It's hard not to worry about everybody.

But mark my words -- we'll be back!
