Police Investigate Possible Peeping Tom; Waitress's Cash Taken at Social Kitchen
The Birmingham Police Department provided the following information. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.

A woman told officers with the Birmingham Police Department that she saw a man standing in her backyard staring up at her through an open bathroom window last week.

The woman, 25, said she spotted the man outside her home in the 1300 block of Cranbrook Road at about 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, and that he ran off upon being noticed, police reports said. He is described as a white man with very pale skin and a buzz cut. Reports said he is in 30s or 40, is about 5-feet-7 inches tall and about 155 pounds.Â
He wore a gray sweatsuit, pullover hoodie and white shoes, police said.
Waitress Ripped Off
A waitress at the Social Kitchen and Bar told police that cash was stolen from her waitressing book sometime between 1 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Oct. 19. The victim said she inadvertently left the money in her apron in the employee restroom. The money was gone when she returned the following day. The investigation is ongoing.Vehicle Taken
A resident in the 1000 block of Pilgrim Street reported a black Ford Flex (MI plate BCV-1835) was stolen from their driveway sometime overnight Monday. The vehicle was left unlocked, with the key fob was inside, police reports said. There are no witnesses and no suspect information was available.ÂAnyone with information about any of these incidents is encouraged to call the department at 248-530-1870.
