Summer Concert Series Starts Friday
Shain Park will host summer series through August 16.
From The City of Birmingham: Enjoy live concerts in Shain Park this summer during the In the Park Summer Concert series. The picturesque setting offers a perfect opportunity to take off your shoes, relax on a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show. The series kicks off with the BirminghamBloomfield Community Coalition Youth Action Board’s Teen Summer Concert on Friday, June 16 at 7 p.m.
During this safe, and fun event, local high school students celebrate the end of school with a performance in Shain Park. Brand new this year, enjoy a special Fourth of July concert on Tuesday, July 4 at 7 p.m. by the Jazz Ambassadors of The U.S. Army Field Band, and afternoon concerts on July 12 and August 2 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Regular concerts will be held Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. from June 21 – August 16.
