Support Birmingham Public Schools With An End Of The Year Donation To BEF
Your donation to the Birmingham Education Fund could pay for new books, tickets to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra or Career Day.

BIRMINGHAM, MI — There's still time to make a tax deductible donation to the Birmingham Education Foundation (BEF) and impact Birmingham Public School (BPS) students, according to a press release.
What is the BEF? It's a group that raises money to create incredible experiences for BPS students. That's because tax dollars alone aren't enough to support enriching educational opportunities. That's where the BEF comes in. The group grants tens of thousands of dollars to Birmingham teachers to help expand off of their curriculum and provide stellar learning experiences.
For example, the BEF site states that a $25 donation could send four fourth graders to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. $75 could buy a set of books for a book club. And $500 could go towards events like Career Day.
