Trio Arrested For Breaking Into Vehicles in Birmingham

Multiple vehicles on Pilgrim and Bonnie Brier were burglarized overnight last week.

Officers with the Birmingham Police Department arrested three people believed to be responsible for stealing items from unlocked cars reports said. 
Officers spotted a man walking in the 1300 block of Puritan around 2:40 a.m. on Dec. 11. When the man saw the officer, he ran away.

The officer caught up to the man and arrested the 25-year-old from Shelby Township, for stealing items from unlocked cars in the 1200 and 1300 blocks of Pilgrim. Another Birmingham officer apprehended two other suspects, a 22 year-old man from Macomb and a 25-year-old man from Clinton Township,  for stealing items from unlocked cars in the 400 block of Bonnie Brier. Authorities issued a two-count felony warrant for larceny from auto.
