Birmingham is hiring a part time parking enforcement assistant with starting pay of $16.97/hour.

BIRMINGHAM, MI — If you've ever wanted to be a Parking Enforcement Assistant, now is your opportunity. Birmingham is accepting applications to fill their part-time Parking Enforcement Assistant opening, according to the city's website.
The Parking Enforcement Assistant will work under the direction of the Birmingham Police and be responsible for duties ranging from issuing parking citations to providing information and assistance to motorists and pedestrians.
There are a few crucial requirements, including: a high school diploma, or equivalent, a valid Michigan Driver’s License with good driving record and a minimum of 1 - 2 years of previous work experience involving substantial public contact/interaction.

The starting wage for the position is $16.97 an hour and the workload is approximately 24 hours a week (Mon. and Thurs: 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Fri: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sat: Noon - 9:00 p.m.).
