Want To Work At A Golf Course This Summer? The City of Birmingham Is Hiring

BIRMINGHAM, MI — Looking for a job on a golf course? Birmingham's Department of Public Services and Golf Courses is hiring seasonal employees to serve in golf course clubhouse and golf course maintenance roles, according to the city's website.

Clubhouse positions will include responsibilities like 'scheduling tee times' and 'monitoring the pace of play and merchandise.' Requirements: Strong customer service skills. A basic knowledge of the game of golf is helpful, but not required. Food Preparation/Line Cook experience preferred.

Golf course maintenance roles are perfect if you like to work outdoors and are comfortable with
power tools and mowing equipment. Requirements: A basic knowledge of the game of golf is helpful, but not required. Skills and experience in inspection, repair, and maintenance of golf course equipment a plus.
