5 Places Open on Christmas Day in Bloomfield
It's Christmas, but there are still a few places that will be open around town on Wednesday.
If you have to be out and about on Christmas Day, these places will be open to serve you in some capacity.Â
CVS
Most CVS stores are open Christmas Day, including 4101 Telegraph Rd. and 42934 Woodward Ave. in Bloomfield Township, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to fill a prescription. CVS is the spot to pick up a holiday card, pet food or other must-have item when just about everything else is closed.
Rite Aid
Most Rite Aid stores are open for extended hours leading up to Christmas, and on Christmas day.ÂStarbucks
The Starbucks located in and around Bloomfield will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Day.7-Eleven
The convenience store becomes the ultra spot for convenience Christmas Day. On the way to Grandma's house, you can also pick up some last-minute items, from Advil to Gatorade. The 7-Elevens at 1650 Crooks Rd. in Troy, and 4264 Orchard Lake Rd., in West Bloomfield are open 24 hours on Christmas Day.

Movie Theaters
Many people make a trip to the movies on Christmas, and the Maple Theater  will be more than happy to oblige. Showtimes begin at 11 a.m. on Christmas Eve and noon on Christmas Day. Thewill also begin showing movies at noon on Christmas Day. Birmingham's Palladium 12 Theatre and the Birmingham 8 are also open on Christmas.
