Assault, Tire Slashing Reported in Bloomfield Township
No arrests were made in an assault and battery complaint, but the investigation is ongoing.

Officers with the Bloomfield Township Police Department responded to a home in the 3000 block of Middlebury for an assault call on Nov. 23, reports said. The alleged victim told police that he and the assailant were visitors at the residence and were drinking.
When the alleged assailant became rowdy, the victim asked him to leave, which prompted the man to assault to the victim and run from the residence. No serious injuries were reported and further details were unavailable.
The man was not located or arrested, and the case was turned over to detectives for further investigation.Â
Malicious Destruction of Property
An employee at a group home in the 2000 block of Hickory Grove told police that she left the residence and found the tires slashed on her vehicle on Nov. 4. The woman told police she believed a co-worker upset over a minor argument was responsible, reports said. The damage was estimated at $200, and the incident remains under investigation.ÂAnyone with information about either incident is encouraged to call the department at 248-433-7752.
