Attempted Burglary at Mathnasium; Computers Missing From Sendwell Inc.
The Bloomfield Township Police Department provided the following information. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.
Officers with the Bloomfield Township Police Department investigated a report of missing computers from the Sendwell Inc. last week. The owner of the business, located at 43996 Woodward Ave., told officers that when he arrived for work on Nov. 7 he noticed two laptop computers missing. There were no signs of forced entry.
The two Apple Mac Book Pro’s are worth roughly $3,500, reports show. The case was referred to detectives for follow up.
Officers also responded to the Mathnasium on Nov. 4 after employees found a door handle to the business damaged when they arrived to work, reports said.Â
No entry was gained and damage estimates to the door were not available. The attempted break-in reportedly occurred sometime between Nov. 2 and Nov. 4, and no suspect information was available.
