The Stand

The Stand Gastro Bistro, 34977 Woodward Ave., offers modern American cuisine in a bistro setting that the proprietors describe as rustic, but refined, according to the business' Facebook page. Proposed and approved by city officials earlier this year, The Stand offers vegan and charcuterie menus from the former home of Zazios.

“The Stand is unique because it is more a market place for guests with private dining, a la carte, rustic lounge, and chef stand areas for the guest to choose from,"  owner John Kelly said in a news release. "We are trying to create experiences for our guests, not just be a restaurant.”
