Car Dealerships Targeted for Thefts in Bloomfield Township
Employees at Golling Chrysler and Mercedes Benz dealerships in Bloomfield Township report separate crimes this week.

Detectives with the  Bloomfield Township Police Department are investigating the thefts of multiple vehicles from one car dealership, and the theft of parts from another.
Officers responded to the Golling Chrysler dealership on May 16 and met with a used car manager who said two used vehicles were missing from the lot, reports said. A complete inventory of the used car lot revealed a third vehicle was missing and likely stolen.

Taken were a gray 2011 Chrysler 300; a black 2013 Dodge Charger; and a Silver 2012 Dodge,Charger. The thefts likely occurred between May 9 and May 16, and no suspect information was available.Â
Mercedes Mischief
The service manager at the Mercedes Benz of Bloomfield dealership called police on May 20 to report the wheels and tires were taken off a vehicle parked in the rear lot, according to Bloomfield Township Police Department reports. The theft occurred sometime between May 18 and early morning on May 20, but further details were unavailable.Â

Reports indicate the thief or thieves also scratched the vehicle during the theft. No suspect information was available. It is unclear if the incidents at the separate dealerships are related.
