  • Why Go: Charlie LeDuff, author, filmmaker and on-air reporter for Detroit's Fox 2 News, will visit Birmingham this weekend to talk about his latest book, Detroit: An American Autopsy. In the book, LeDuff shares the story of a hard town in a rough time, filled with the some of the strangest and strongest people in the country. Books will be available for purchase and signing, courtesy of the Book Beat. 

    "This event is part of a series of Detroit-related programs that the Baldwin Library is currently offering," Baldwin Library Director Doug Koschik said in a news release.
