Home Invasion on Dunston in Bloomfield Hills
The Bloomfield Hills Department of Public Safety provided the following information.

Detectives with the Bloomfield Hills Department of Public Safety continue to investigate a home invasion in the 300 block of Dunston Street that was reported in November, officials said.
Officers responded to the home after the resident discovered the break-in on Nov. 14, according to reports. The victim told police that someone forced entry to the home while they were out during the day, and said several jewelry pieces and other items were missing. Authorities did not disclose the method of entry.
Investigators said they collected physical evidence from the scene and recently had it processed for clues by the Michigan State Police Crime Lab, but they could not develop a suspect.
Attempted Vehicle Break-in
That same week, officers took a report from a woman who said someone tried to break into her vehicle while parked in the lot outside offices in the 200 block of Long Lake Road on Nov. 12. Officers determined someone tried to pry open the passenger door, but did not gain entry, reports said. No suspect information was available.Â
Both incidents remain under investigation and no suspect information was available. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call the department at 248-644-4200.Find out what's happening in Bloomfield-Bloomfield Hillsfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
