Hundreds Still Without Power in Bloomfield, Bloomfield Hills
DTE crews restored power to roughly half of the 300,000 affected by Sunday's storms, but some in the Bloomfield area are still in the dark.

Pockets of Bloomfield Township and Bloomfield Hills remain without power Tuesday morning, DTE reports.
More than 500 Bloomfield-area residents lost power Sunday into Monday as a result of the high winds and strong thunderstorms that blew through southeast Michigan and ravaged the Midwest.
Hundreds of additional residents reported losing power throughout the day Monday due to persistent high winds, DTE reports. More than 300 customers around Lahser Road between Maple and Quarton roads lost power Monday evening, and the hundreds of customers in the Wabeek subdivision in Bloomfield Township remain in the dark for the second straight day.
Another affected area appears to be around Woodward Avenue near Lone Pine Road, where nearly 150 residents are still without power. Nearby, another 150 customers along the railroad tracks west of Wattles Road lost power, according to the DTE outage map. No restoration time was available as of 5:30 a.m.
The outage impacted only West Hills Middle School, which was closed all of Monday, but will resume classes today.
Also, Monday's scheduled tryouts for the Bloomfield Hills High School bowling team were postponed to 3:30 p.m. today at 300 Bowl.
DTE reported that more than 100 crews working 16-hour shifts restored power to roughly half of the 302,000 residents impacted by the storm across southeast Michigan. The storm is the largest DTE experienced this year and is reportedly among the worst in the past decade.
