Lahser Closed Due To Power Outage, Finals Rescheduled

Classes are cancelled at Lahser High School today due to the ongoing power outage caused by Thursday's storms. 

Senior final exams for those scheduled in second hour will be rescheduled last week, according to an e-mail from Bloomfield Hills Schools officials. That schedule should be available later today, the e-mail stated. 

Roughly 400 Bloomfield Township residents lost power shortly after 5:30 p.m. Thursday, primarily in the area between Telegraph and Lahser roads. The blackout persisted overnight on both sides of Long Lake Road.

DTE estimated power will be restored by 4 p.m. Friday.
