MHSAA Football Championship Games Scheduled For Late November
Brother Rice and Detroit Country Day advanced to the next round of the MHSAA high school football playoffs Friday. What you need to know about the finals, if you believe either team will be there.

The MHSAA football playoffs resume this weekend, and there are still Bloomfield-area teams — and several special players — to watch for as the march toward Ford Field continues.
It's never wise to look beyond your next opponent as a fan, but here are some important details to know if you have faith that your team will be playing for state titles later this month.  Â
Qualifying teams for the playoffs were divided into eight divisions of 32 schools. Within each division are four regions for eight teams; within each region, is two districts of four teams.

Pre-district pairing are based on regular-season computer rankings. The first-place team hosts the fourth-place team, while the second place team plays the team in third.Â
Tickets for single-session Pre-District, District and Regional games are $5. At Regional sites where multiple games are played and a single admission is charged, tickets will be $6. Single-session Semifinal tickets are $6. At Semifinal sites where multiple games are played and a single admission is charged, tickets are $7.For the 11-Player Finals, tickets are $10 per day at Ford Field, allowing a fan to see all four games on a single admission. No in and out privileges are allowed. Here is the schedule:
