Packages Stolen From Porch; Mailboxes Damaged in Bloomfield Hills

Detectives with the Bloomfield Hills Department of Public Safety are investigating the theft of packages from the front porch of a home in the 200 block of Guilford last month, officials said.Â
The resident ordered the items to be shipped and learned that they arrived on Dec. 8, but he was not home, according to reports. The packages were not there when he returned on Dec. 9, but he confirmed that they were shipped and delivered.Â
Police canvassed the neighborhood but did not develop further information. There are no suspects at this time.
Malicious Destruction of Mailboxes
Officers are also investigating the destruction of two mailboxes to homes in the 600 Block of Bennington Drive. Residents reported that the mailboxes at two separate addresses were attacked and damaged on Nov. 5, reports said. There was no physical evidence and no suspect information is available.
