Rain Gives Way To Sun For Second Half Of Weekend

Find out what the National Weather Service says the high temperatures will be this weekend.

METRO DETROIT, MI. — By now you’ve probably shopped until you’re ready to drop and had enough turkey to last you for at least a year. Time to recoup, relax and enjoy the weekend, even if the weather forecast isn’t looking so hot.

After a beautiful Friday that saw temperatures around 50 degrees, the National Weather Service is predicting a, well, downright icky first half of the weekend in the Metro Detroit area. Here’s a look:

Friday Night: A chance of showers between 11pm and 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. South southwest wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday: A chance of showers after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature rising to near 45 by noon, then falling to around 39 during the remainder of the day. West northwest wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Northwest wind 6 to 13 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. West southwest wind 6 to 11 mph. Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45.
