Rain in the Weekend Forecast for Bloomfield

Bring the umbrella if you plan to be out and about tonight and Sunday in Bloomfield.

Headed out for the opening of the annual Corn Maze at the Bower School Farm? You'd do well to bring the umbrella.

The National Weather Service predicts a 40 percent chance of rain, largely before 10 a.m. in the Metro Detroit area. The skies should be partly cloudy later with a high temperature of about 79 degrees. The forecast calls for a chance of thunderstorms Saturday night through Sunday as a cold front rolls in following a series of warm fronts.

Sunday's forecast calls for a 90 percent chance of rain with a possible thunderstorm after 8 a.m. The high temperature will be about 70 degrees. If you'll be indoors, internationally-acclaimed musician Leszek Bartkiewicz will perform at the Manresa Jesuit Retreat House. Or if you want to brave the elements, pack that umbrella and rain poncho to enjoy one of the final weeks of the Birmingham Farmers Market.
