Vehicles Stolen From Bloomfield Township Home and Business

The Bloomfield Township Police Department provided the following information.

Bloomfield Township Police Department are investigating two vehicle thefts from a residence and local business last week.

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a resident in the 1600 Block of Bloomfield Place on Jan. 11 and learned that her 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee was taken from outside the home, reports said. The victim had the keys with her, and there were no obvious signs of forced entry. The theft occurred sometime  between 9 p.m. the previous night and 2 a.m.

Officers entered the vehicle into the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN) and on January 14th, Bloomfield Township Investigators were informed the vehicle had been recovered, unoccupied in Pontiac by deputies with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers also responded to the offices of Hubbell, Roth & Clark Inc., 555 Hulet, on Jan. 13 after an employee reported that a 2003 Jeep Cherokee Sport owned by the company was stolen, reports said. There was also a Jeep Liberty on the property that the suspects also attempted to steal but were unsuccessful.

The theft occurred sometime between January 11 and 13. No suspect information was available. The stolen vehicle was entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network and the case is ongoing.
