What's Open and Closed in Bloomfield This Easter

Municipal offices are closed on Friday while the library is closed on Easter.

 

Today is Good Friday, and Easter weekend is upon us. Though several places are closed in honor of the holiday, there will be opportunities to still get your errands done.

Bloomfield Township Hall: Closed Friday, as it always is under staffing structure.

Bloomfield Hills City Offices: Closed Friday in observance of the holiday.

Bloomfield Township Public Library: The Library will be closed on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31 for Easter weekend, and as an unpaid staff furlough day. The Library will reopen at it's regular time on Monday, April 1 at 9:30 a.m. The library's online services are always open.

Baldwin Public Library: Baldwin is open today, but will be closed on Sunday in observance of the holiday. The library re-opens at 9:30 a.m. Monday.

Groceries: Kroger, Plum Market, Costco and Trader Joe's are open regular hours this weekend.

Banks: All banks are open normal hours this Friday and weekend.

U.S. Post Office: The post office on South Boulevard is open regular hours this weekend, with regular mail delivery on Friday and Saturday.

Schools: Bloomfield Hills Schools will be closed Friday, and all next week for spring break.

Trash: Easter and Good Friday should not impact trash collection in the Bloomfield area.
