Recent graduates of the Bloomfield Hills Schools and other Bloomfield-area high schools continue their academic success at the next level. Here's a list of students that were recently honored for being top performers at their respective schools.

Eastern Michigan University

Kim Schatzel of Bloomfield Hills, recently became a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. She is among about 32,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni initiated annually into the group. Membership is by invitation and requires nomination and approval by a chapter.

Saginaw Valley State University

Cynthia Wagner, of Bloomfield Hills, was recently named to the Dean's List, which requires a semester GPA of 3.4 or better while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.

University of Detroit Mercy

Christina Stilianos, of Bloomfield Hills, was recently selected to attend the Annual Student Leadership Conference in St. Louis, in November. Stilianos, president of the College of Business Administration Student Advisory Board, will participate in in-depth workshops on leadership topics.

Joann Lee, also of Bloomfield Hills, recently received the prestigious Scholar Key Award. The Scholar Key Award is given to freshmen with a 4.0 grade point average in 12-31 credit hours; sophomores with a 3.9 GPA or above in 32-62 credit hours; juniors with a 3.8 GPA or above in 63-94 credit hours; and seniors with a 3.8 or above in 95 or more credit hours.
