The Village Players of Birmingham will open “Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean,” this weekend with performances at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at 34660 Woodward Ave. Tickets are $17 and available on the theater’s website www.birminghamvillageplayers.com or by calling the theater box office at 248-644-2075.

Join Renee Heigel, a board certified holistic health and nutrition practitioner for a free seminar on how to battle sugar cravings at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Better Health Market, 2053 South Telegraph Rd. in Bloomfield Township.
