UPDATED: Win The Sugar Game and Chamber Music Concert in Bloomfield This Weekend

Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean

The Village Players of Birmingham will open “Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean,” this weekend with performances at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at 34660 Woodward Ave. Tickets are $17 and available on the theater’s website www.birminghamvillageplayers.com or by calling the theater box office at 248-644-2075.

Win The Sugar Game

Join Renee Heigel, a board certified holistic health and nutrition practitioner for a free seminar on how to battle sugar cravings at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Better Health Market, 2053 South Telegraph Rd. in Bloomfield Township. Heigel will discuss how to defeat sugar cravings and provide tips to help kick a sugar addition while losing weight in this hour-long session that will feature a Q&A at the end.  

Chamber Music Concert Series 

Hear the talented students from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theater and Dance perform chamber music live from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17. No registration is required for the free performance, sponsored by the Friends of the Bloomfield Township Public Library.

Tenors Un Limited

Meet the "Rat Pack of Opera" on Saturday, 7:30 p.m., at The Berman Center for the Performing Arts. The evening will include a blend of their own compositions and classic opera. For tickets and information, call 248-661-1900 or visit theberman.org.

Monsters Inc. and Pajama Party
