Adrian & Blissfield Rail Road wins Jake Award for Safety
Adrian & Blissfield Rail Road recorded its 15th accident free year
WESTLAND, MICH.--- The Adrian & Blissfield Rail Road Company, (www.abrailroad.com), headquartered here, which serves as a holding company and operates five shortline Railroads in Southeastern Michigan, has recorded its 15th consecutive accident free year in 2017 with no injuries due to accidents and won the JAKE Award, presented by the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA).

To qualify for the Jake with Distinction Award, the A&B must have had a Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) reported injury free performance in 2017.
The Adrian & Blissfield Rail Road Company consists of the parent company and four rails operating companies for freight and dinner trains in Michigan. The Adrian and Blissfield provides freight service in Lenawee County plus The Old Road Dinner Train in Blissfield (MI). The Charlotte Southern Railroad Company provides freight service in Eaton County plus The Old Road Dinner Train in Charlotte (MI). The Detroit Connecting Railroad Company provides freight service in Eastern Wayne County the Lapeer Industrial Railroad Company provides freight service in Lapeer County and the Jackson Lansing Railroad from Jackson to Lansing, MI.
