It was a tough night for the Bulldogs who couldn't stop Canton's running game on Friday.

Scoreless in the first half, Brighton got on the board in the second half ending with a final score of 35-8.

Selected as the Game of the Week by Channel 7, highlights from the match-up will be shown on WXYZ starting at 11 p.m. 

Brighton opened the season with a 21-10 win over Novi and Canton entered Friday's game with a 1-0 record, as the Chiefs beat West Ottawa 28-21 in Week One.
