Cleary University Launches Sauve Art Exhibit

Sauve: Building Communities Through Public Art 1988-2018 Celebrates Art's Impact

Cleary University and its Arthur Secunda Museum are pleased to announce the launch of its latest exhibit celebrating the work of Michigan artist John Sauvé.

The exhibit incorporates recent works alongside earlier pieces. It includes prints, projects and exhibition materials as well as more than a dozen large-scale sculptures from his many beloved public art sculpture series. Visitors will get to see pieces that exemplify his master of narrative sculpture and exquisite drawings completed for finished works that show the depth of his process, evolving the idea from two to three dimensions. Promotional Materials retrace the story of "Building communities through Public Art".

“We are fortunate to bring this exhibit to life bringing together so many of John’s captivating sculptures and other pieces. To have so many of the installations together in one venue will give visitors an up-close look at his vision and passion all in one location,” said Grace Farley, Director, Arthur Secunda Museum. “John’s mission is one of great importance to all communities.”
