The Old Road Blissfield travels along the original Erie & Kalamazoo Railroad Line from 1836 making it one of first railroads west of the Allegheny Mountains. The route takes passengers along a route thought to be the bottom of an ancient lake that today we call Lake Erie.

At the time on the route at Lenawee Junction, some 30-40 trains traveled each day on their way to Jackson, Monroe and Toledo.

Both the Old Road Blissfield and the Old Road Dinner Train Charlotte offer a yearlong schedule of Murder Mystery Train Rides and five course dinners featuring troupes of professional actors, plus specialty and holiday theme trains during the year.
