City Offices, Transfer Station Closings For New Year
Christmas Tree And Wreath Pickup Set For January
According to the city of Chelsea, City Hall will be closed Monday, Jan 1-Tuesday, Jan 2, 2018, in observance of New Year's Day. City Hall will also be closed Monday, Jan 15 to honor Martin Luther King Day. The Transfer station will be closed Friday, Dec 30-Saturday, Dec 31st, and Saturday, Jan 13.
During the month of January, the Department of Public Works will pick up Christmas trees and wreaths at the curbside. They as that homeowners place discarded trees on the lawn extension, and that they me sure to
remove any wire, nails, and plastic from the trees and wreaths.
