Play Dungeons and Dragons and More at the Chelsea Library
There's always something happening at the Chelsea District Library.

Here are 4 events happening at the Chelsea District Library this week:
1. Dungeons & Dragons Weekly Gaming: D&D isn't just fun, it's challenging! Build your character, solve puzzles, battle villains and find treasure. New or experiences gamers are welcome. We will be using the 3.5 edition of the game. Feel free to bring your own games to play as well! Tuesday is for ages 12-18, and Thursday is for ages 15 to 25. If you have questions please call Edith Burney at 475-8732 ext. 213
2. Smarty Pants Trivia Smackdown: How does your knowledge of random trivia compare to your friends' and neighbors'? Round up a team of up to six people and join the Chelsea Library at the Chelsea Alehouse to test your trivia chops. After five rounds of trivia, the top two teams win prizes (and bragging rights). Free to participate-- bring your library card to get bonus points!
3. American Red Cross Blood Drive: The library is hosting a blood drive in the McKune Room at the Chelsea District Library. You are encouraged to sign up for a 15 minute reserved spot, or just drop in. To schedule an appointment go to www.redcrossblood.org and type in sponsor code "chelsealibrary". Come join us and give the gift of Life!
4. Summertime READ to the Library Dog: Reading Education Assistance Dogs has been a Chelsea District Library program for more than 7 years. Children read books to our friendly service dogs who listen carefully to every single word! Research has shown that children can improve their reading skills by reading aloud to non-judgmental listeners. Sign up for a 10-minute slot today by calling 475-8732, ext. 4.
