Resident Cited for Loud Party

The following information was provided by the Chelsea Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Chelsea Police responded to a noise complaint June 2 at a home on the 400 block of South Main Street.

According to the report, when officers arrived at the home the first time they issued the resident a warning and informed him of the noise ordinance. He was asked to turn down the music at his home and to keep it at a reasonable level.

Police were called back to the home later in the evening for another noise complaint.

The report states that police issued the resident a citation for violating the noise ordinance following the second visit.
